The Cradle of Liberty Council partners with Trail’s End to provide its units with the annual popcorn fundraiser: a turn-key, time-tested method to raise money to fund your unit’s Scouting programs like summer camp, campouts, field trips, and equipment. During the sale, Scouts sell the opportunity for people to support Scouting adventures; the popcorn product is the thank-you for doing so. A portion of the proceeds also supports council camps and other operational costs.

Selling has never been easier with tap to pay! If your phone has NFC (Near Field Communication) capabilities, you can accept Apple Pay or Google Pay as well as other digital wallet and contactless payments.

Cradle of Liberty Council Incentives

Top Seller Event: Scouts who sell $1,000 or more will receive an invite to our top seller event in 2026 during the Family Camping Weekend.
Top 5 Scout Prize: The top five Scouts in total sales in 2025 will receive a bonus from our prize vault.
Scouts who sell over $2,500 in total sales will receive a $25 Scout Shop gift card.
Popcorn Patch: Every Scout who records a sale through the App or Trails End system will receive a 2025 Popcorn Patch.

Unit Commission Structure

Storefront & Wagon Sales

Based on a unit’s total traditional sales (storefront and wagon sales):

Units that sell up to $4,999 receive 30% commission.
Units that sell $5,000 – $9,999 receive 35% commission.
Units that sell $10,000 or more receive a 40% commission.
Units that order product and return no product to the council receive a bonus 2% commission.

Online Sales

Online sales are a flat 35% commission.

Important Details

Units that sell $13,000 or more the previous year receive free home/local delivery on order #1.
Unit Return Policy: Units can return up to 10% of their total 2025 product order. All returns must be full factory sealed cases. Any chocolate items cannot be returned.
Reporting Any Damaged Product (for units): If you discover concealed damaged (e.g. you open a case and find a white cheddar bag open), email a photo and the product lot number to support@trails-end.com. The Trail’s End Customer Service team will credit the unit directly.
